Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16 1984 at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and popular comedians. The comedian has been on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better known as her stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish actress, writer and comedian. Bea began her stand-up comedy career in 2011, after appearing in small parts on several Irish television shows and British shows since the year 2009. From 2012 on Bea began appearing on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. She began appearing regularly in panel shows following her win of an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Between 2016 and 2017, she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team in addition to being a performer on the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. The actress is the child of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her younger sister, was born. In 2012 she was the only woman to win the So You Think You Are Funny award. The surname she uses is Bea to pay tribute to her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh, O'Sullivan is the daughter of a Kildare woman who was born in Kildare. Born on in March 16, 1984. Her father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who took his own life at the age of three. Bea was only three years old though she did not know what happened to him until she reached the age of 13. She adopted the stage name Bea as a tribute to her father. She also she wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea was raised with her older sister Sinead with Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer, and former professional racer. Their family was enthralled by races as well as horses. Bea had a job as an instructor at the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she did not want to pursue a racing career. She was more interested in the artistic arts.
